Hensol Castle Wedding
This was my first Hensol Castle Wedding & I absolutely loved it there. It really is a stunning Castle with turrets & gothic towers and even has its own lake.
My day began at Harriet preparations where the excitement was beginning. I then made my way over to st Isan Church within the village of Llanishen where Paul was greeting the arriving guests along with his best man & ushers. It was great to see that they had chosen one of my favourite videographers Tom Webb from Aperture Wedding Films who’s such a nice guy & his work is amazing.
Harriet arrived in her fathers car which is a very rare replica of the first ever Bentley. Its stunning and I had recognised it from having been stopped in my tracks previously as its driven past me in & around Cardiff.
After the ceremony everyone made their way over to Hensol Castle where they enjoyed a glass of champagne in the many rooms or in the grounds of the beautiful venue.
Harriet & Paul had planned their wedding to perfection and had some very special details from M&M’s with their faces on to chocolate playstation controllers at every place setting. The biggest surprise for me though was the cake. I’ve always been a fan of Japanese animation & in particular Studio Ghibli & I loved the top of the cake which was the perfect model of totoro from one of their most famous animated films.
For the evening celebrations chose the brilliant Emerald Thieves as their band who I have to say were absolutely superb & if you considering a band for your wedding these should be high on you list of choices.
We absolutely love our photos thank you so much for capturing such great images.
Here is a selection of some of my favourite photographs from an unforgettable day
