Fonmon Castle Weddings
I love Fonmon Castle Weddings & Frances & Tremayne’s was no exception. Its a stunning venue near Barry & as a South Wales Wedding photographer I’m lucky enough to have worked there a lot. what makes it so special for me is the gorgeous room where the ceremony takes place & the fact that the bride gets ready in another room just beside it where she can be kept hidden from the guests but she can still hear them arriving as they await her entry across a small balcony & through the patio doors.
My day began with Frances as she made her preparations for her wedding day along with her very excited little flower girl who seemed quite taken with the harp being tuned up in the other room, I think she might be a budding musician. When everyone was ready I made my way to the front of the room to capture her walk in escorted by her proud father while Tremayne waited nervously at the front. After a lovely ceremony everybody made their way down the staircase to great the happy couple who were waiting at the bottom.
We took advantage of the good weather for a few pictures of Frances & Tremayne in the stunning grounds. To our surprise we were closely followed everywhere we went by the venue’s resident black cat who seemed to take a shine to Frances & followed us around placing himself in the photographs wherever possible.
Everyone then made their way upstairs to where the room had been turned around for the wedding breakfast, it looked absolutely stunning as always. After the speeches the happy couple cut the cake with the sword & Tremayne couldn’t help but take advantage of the moment & dropped to his knee for a knighthood.
Thank you for your professionalism and unobtrusive approach on our wedding day. We absolutely love the photos!
